More information Dewar's White Label 1.75 Liters Big Bottles
John Dewar was the son of a farmer with great ideas. Instead of following the agriculture path of his father, he went to work in his uncle´s wine and liquor business in the city, and during this time he started to develop plans to create his own distillery.
The DEWAR brand officially started in 1880, and when John´s two sons entered the business it changed to John Dewar & Sons.
Creating a perfectly balanced blend that would "never change" was the goal of the expert taster of Dewars, the first Master Mixer Alexander J. Cameron. After decades of experimentation, Cameron created a whisky that became the number one whisky in the United States: Dewar's White Label.
There is no actual recipe for this whisky; it is a secret that has been passed down orally from each Master Mixer.
White Label is sweet, light, and fruity. It is made from a mixture of the 40 best Scottish malt grain whiskies and produced in the same tradition that has been used for 150 years.
