More information Ojo de Liebre Wine
Vinos Divertidos is a personal project that seeks to bring together wine and fun.
To do this, we make wines with personality and work with native Spanish varieties and family wineries. Our wines tell personal stories and our philosophy is fun, casual and aimed at a different consumer.
The thinker of this project is Pepe Marco, who after his time in La Zaragozana and Allied Domecq was looking for a challenge where he could put his love for wine and innovation into practice. This is how the red Cojón de Gato was born, with the idea of making the Cojón de Gato grape variety known in a fun way. We managed to revolutionize the traditional way of understanding wine, laying the foundations of a different and carefree philosophy that many wineries were encouraged to adopt. The line of Cojón de Gato & CO would be complemented by other wines such as Teta de Vaca or Ojo de Liebre, which are also made with varieties that take their name from animal parts.
In 2016, this project joins forces with more wine lovers and becomes a journey through the wine regions of our country in search of combining fun with the terroir of various DO's. This is how the Vintage Collection was born, with the first stop in Calatayud, where we got on the motorbike to find the best Garnacha
Ojo de Liebre is also how the Tempranillo is known, in reference to its round grain.
