More information Conde de Cuba Añejo Reserve 5 Years Rum
Rum from the Dominican Republic is aged twice in oak casks, firstly for 5 years in the Dominican Republic and then in their Rives Pitman's Spanish warehouses in El Puerto de Santa Maria where the rum rests in American oak casks which previously contained oloroso sherry. This double maturation process produces a rum with exceptional body and smoothness.
His Excellency Sr. D. Francisco Vives y Planes was awarded the title of “Conde de Cuba” by the king of Spain in 1832. This beautifully warm and smooth aged Caribbean rum celebrates his significant contribution to the history of the island.
