The keys to its aroma and special smoothness on the palate are to be found in the quality of the pure English grain alcohol, its artisanal distillation process in old copper stills and the nature of its botanicals.
The presence of the hand of Buddha, a citrus fruit of oriental origin, is also reflected in the image of this drink, an original square bottle (in the shape of an ice cube), with silhouettes in relief of the tree of this citrus fruit and the face of a young Buddha. Williams & Humbert's gin boasts fourteen botanicals in its composition: Buddha's hand, juniper, mandarin, thyme, coriander, lemon, cinnamon, peppermint, camomile, aniseed, sweet orange, almond, cardamom and mango.
The Ultra premium version is a gin distilled four times for purity and with more citrus. It is very fragrant and less bitter than other citrus fruits, which is why it is used in haute patisserie for its aroma and smoothness.
Production: gin subjected to four distillation processes in centenary stills following the traditional English system.
