Alcorta seeks to respond to the new fashion in modern Riojas by producing a more aromatic wine with better sensations in the mouth, capable of surprising even the most discerning palates.
Bodegas Juan Alcorta, named after its founder, Juan Alcorta, is located on the old road to Fuenmayor (Logroño).
A winery exclusively dedicated to crianza, reserva and gran reserva wines, whose vineyards are divided into plots so that the vocation of the grapes is determined for each type of wine. For the aging in barrels we use mainly American oak and also French oak, in a serene and restful atmosphere for the aging of wine.
The majority of our vineyards are made up of old vines, more than 25 years old, in which the majority of the Tempranillo variety is cultivated.
Alcorta Crianza
With this new wine, Alcorta aims to adapt to the new trends of the current Rioja, making a more aromatic wine with better sensations in the mouth, capable of surprising the most demanding consumer.
